Liz Allen is a PhD student in the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Washington State University. She is part of an interdisciplinary research team that is modeling climate change impacts on agriculture and forestry in the Pacific Northwest. Her role in the project is to design and evaluate stakeholder engagement strategies. Freshwater and marine ecosystems have been a life-long interest for Liz and she is currently learning a lot about agriculture. Liz holds a masters degree in in Environmental Science and Policy from Clark University and bachelors degrees in Biology and Anthropology from the University of Oregon. She has lived and worked in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Armenia, though she now calls Massachusetts home for most of the year. |
